Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program is unique from many other programs in the Diocese and beyond. It incorporates a developmentally appropriate curriculum and cross-curricular instruction. During the morning block, students are split into similar learning level groups for five different rotations for 30 minutes each. Click below for a Day in the Life of an SMMCS Kindergartener!
Spacious campus
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School has one of the largest campuses of all the schools in the Diocese of Orlando. Our campus includes 4 main buildings, a gymnasium, and a full-sized athletic field and paved track. The school also has use of many of the parish facilities, including the Parish Life Center.
Gymnasium
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School has a stand-alone, full-sized gymnasium with pull-out bleachers. Both Physical Education classes and extracurricular sports are held in the gym. The gymnasium also houses the school music and band room.
dedicated Playgrounds
There are several playgrounds on the campus of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School. The kindergarten playground shown here is dedicated for use by the kindergarten students only. There are 2 other playgrounds located by the track and field. Students have recess every day but Wednesdays in this location and have use of the field, as well as the outdoor courts.
Track and Field
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School's campus includes a full-sized track and field at the back of the property. Students have recess every day but Wednesdays in this location and are able to use the track and field, as well as the outdoor courts.
Secure environment
Security is of the utmost importance at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School. Security fencing with electronic gates surrounds the property. In addition, cameras are strategically located throughout the campus and are monitored in the school office. A speaker system is also in place campus-wide, including the track and field, for important announcements.
