Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School school day begins at 8:00 am. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 7:30 am in the breezeway and classroom doors will open at 7:45 am. See the maps below for navigating the arrival/drop-off routes.
Dismissal takes place at 3:00 pm, with the exception of Wednesday 2:00 pm early dismissal. SMMCS utilizes School Dismissal Manager to safely dismiss the students. Through the on-line dismissal management system, you can accomplish the following, and more!
Report student absences and late arrivals
Schedule early departures from school
Schedule after-school activities such as scouting, clubs or sports, enrichment classes, etc.
Make transportation changes as late as 1:45 pm on the current day, 12:45 pm on Wednesdays.
Make sure to download the latest app for iPhones or Androids.
NOTE: In the case of inclement weather, SMMCS will call a “rainy day dismissal.” Parents will be notified via text or through the app to park and walk to the classroom to collect their student(s) when safe.
