Intermediate Grades
Mrs. Albin, grade 3
Graduated from UCF with a degree in Communicative Disorders and certified by the Florida Department of Education in Elementary Education K – 6. Began teaching in 2002. Mrs. Albin loves teaching at the school that she attended and her 3 children have attended, too. Currently teaching 3rd grade at SMMCS.
ms. Dow, grade 3
Graduated from UCF with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and certified by the Florida Department of Education in Elementary Education K – 6. Ms. Dow is Reading and ESOL Endorsed. Began teaching in Seminole County Public Schools in 2018 and taught both 1st and 3rd grade. She also taught in the Religious Education program in her home parish. Ms. Dow is excited to begin a new journey at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School in third grade.
Mrs. Griffin, Grade 4
Graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6) and with an ESOL endorsement. Teaching career began in 2001, with 7 years teaching 1st grade in Broward County Public Schools followed by a transfer to her Alma Mater, St. Jerome Catholic School, in the Archdiocese of Miami, teaching 4th grade. Recently relocated to the Orlando area and joined the SMMCS family in 2018.
Mrs. Harper, Grade 4
Mrs. Mina Harper has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Tampa. Certified in Elementary Education (K-6). Taught primary grades in California for several years. Joined the Diocese of Orlando in 2009.
mRs. Cobb, Grade 5
Holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Certified in Educational Leadership, English 6-9, and Elementary Education K-6. Joined St. Mary Magdalen parish in 1978, is a graduate of SMMCS, and has taught in the Orlando Diocese for 20 years, 13 of those years at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School.
Mr. Parker, Grade 5
Holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Certified in Educational Leadership and Elementary Education K-6. Teaching in the Diocese of Florida since 2022, with an additional two years in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
